CSKA Sophia Gardens striker Cai Mckenzie secured his second Player of the Month trophy in 3 months at the club's November awards night this past weekend.

The top scorer for the season so far was voted for the award by his team mates once again after scoring 4 goals in the 3 games played during the month including a brace against Premiership side Thornhill AFC in the Milsom Harries Cup 1st Round.

Mckenzie pipped both Huw Williams and Ed Lewis to the award in 2nd and 3rd respectively in a close vote. Williams in particular unlucky to fall just short of winning the award for a third consecutive month.

Goal of the Month was a close contest with Dan Carter winning it for his effort against Cathays United in what was his first goal for the club. He was pushed close by Mckenzie's effort against Thornhill AFC and Ed Lewis also versus Cathays United.

Brown Ale Moment of the Month was another tight run contest. James Joyce came out on top for catching covid to continue a theme of unfortunate circumstances impacting players being rewarded with the unwanted award.

Captain Jordan Lloyd came 2nd after falling over the ball when going on a lung-bursting run in the dying embers of the game versus Thornhill AFC. Joyce then had 3rd place wrapped up for having a strop whenever a player scored that wasn't him.
